Meet your instructor

A warm pool, a familiar face, real attention.

Erin Leonard learned to swim as a toddler, taught by her own dad, went on to swim competitively in high school, and spent years teaching at formal swim schools before starting Aqua Mama to do it better. She is CPR certified and a former Water Safety Instructor and lifeguard.

Why starting young matters

The earlier they learn, the safer they are.

According to the CDC, drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4 in the United States. The reassuring part: the CDC also finds that formal swim lessons can lower that risk.

The younger a child gets comfortable in the water, the more naturally safety becomes second nature, and the more your whole family can relax at the pool, the lake, or on vacation.
